MAC Review & Swatches

Mac Studio Sculpt
Concealer
NW15
I decided to try a new concelaer this time instead of repurchasing my trusty prolongwear concealer, and i was drawn towards this particular concealer.  Although i have heard more bad reviews than good on this product i decided to try it out anyway as its packaging looked similar to the maybeline concealer that was sadly discontinued that i loved.

However, the consistency is different to the maybeline one.  It feels very soft, creamy and quite thick and the colour matches perfectly to my skin colouring which is great, because I have difficulties finding products that match my skin tone.  This concealer works amazingly on the under eyes and while it covers up most of my blemishes, there is a few that it cant cover up.

Impeccably rich
Big Bounce Eyeshadow

At first i was unsure if this product was worth it or not but I soon eventually gave in after seeing swatches on temptalia.  This colour instantly blew me away with its rich colour and pigmnetation , I knew I had to have it!

Compared to the Paint pots, the big bounce eyeshadows are much more creamy and liquidy and can get quite messy.  I prefer to apply paint pots with my fingers but  with these i would definitely recommend a concealer type brush.

Once applied on the eyes , because of its liquid consistency it gives an amazing sheen and gorgeous colour to the eyes, and if blended out to sheer  out the colour,it is still amazing but more subtle.

As some of you may know, i have been on the hunt for the perfect champagne MAC shadow and my two recent purchases are pretty close!  Ricepaper & Shroom are both neutral shadows however there are a few differences. Shroom is a more of a champagny white wheras Ricepaper is more of a champagny peach.  Once applied on the eye, I noticed that shroom is very similar to "Short Shorts" e/s from mac that came out  with the surf baby collection.  I would reccomend if you have this shade not picking up Shroom, as they are nearly identical. Between the two, Ricepaper is more  the colour I was looking for as a lid colour however, Shroom would make a lovely highlight.

So Sweet,So Easy
Cremeblend Blush

Unlike the old formula of cream blushes that were sticky and hard to blend, the newly formulated cremeblend blushes are a treat to work with.  When I swatched the blush, it applied sheerer which I liked as the colour is quite bright so it adds a subtle colour to the cheeks whilst not being too dramatic.  The consistency is lovely ; a smooth cream that is blended easily and not sticky at all.

I would definitely say that these new cremeblend blushes are worth it, and i cant wait to pick up more shades!

           Studio Careblend Pressed Powder
Light

I never really hear much hype about this product, which i find hard to believe as I absolutely love it!  When applied to my face with my elf powder brush it matifies my face but it doesn't leave my face feeling powdery like a lot of powders including the MSFN.

Instead, it leaves my face feeling soft and smooth which i love!  I know that all the oil has been absorbed , but i dont feel powdery or cakey in the slightest when i wear it! I definitely would say that this is the best powder MAC makes and cannot understand why this is not super popular on Youtube!
